LYRICS AND CHORDS

The first step in reading music

How to Read Lyrics and Chords:

Play the chord as a particular word is sung in the music. The chords are above the lyrics. For example:

C               C

Mary had a little lamb

G               C

Little lamb, little lamb

The chords are above the lyrics. You strum the chord above the particular word when that word is sung.
